Message you mean your mids and highs? I have 2 TypeR 12's and Alpine suggests an MRD-M500 on the pair, but when I added a second MRD-M500 (one for each 12) the difference was amazing! If you are doing the MRD model amps you could also get the Sub amp controller RUX-4280. It runs about $90 and it allows control of all features of the Sub amps (including Parametric EQ). This is beneficial because if any future tuning is needed, it can be done at the controller and there will be no need to get into the Amp rack to make adjustments. Cuts WAY back on "tweak" time.
Going with 10's you should get a pair of MRD-M300 at the minimum. If he suggests a pair of the M500s you should consider just a single M1000. Lots of power for 10's and will save $ AND space.

BTW - I got a lot of my equipment from ezorderUSA.com until the shop doing my work decided to pick up the tab
